Show The Forum Arts and Entertainment Ocean Blue Worth Their Weight in Marigold Caffeine and Culture Prevail by Britt Fekete Forum staff writer Students, faculty and staff consumed their evening doses of caffeine Wednesday, Oct. 4 at this house, years first coffee Sponsored by ASWC, the evening contained a variety of talent, rang- ing from Nicole Young and Erika Birchs rendition of Heart and Soul, to Dave Neisler and Jed Arvescth leading a group of about twelve, in the Beatles song, Let It Be. Brian Pilling, ASWC vice president and coordinator of the event, felt positive about the activ- Ive heard great feedback and am looking forward to future cof-fee houses, said Pilling. Others enjoyed the event as well, including freshman Douglas B. Ann Jones Forum Reporter Wednesday night, on the BYU campus, fans from near and far gathered to listen to a band offers a unique sound, The Ocean Blue. Although the crowd was small (around 200) the show was one that wont be forgotten anytime soon by those who attended. AH Ali Oxen Free opened, and ffD Ua the time they finished, the audience was ready for what they . came for, The Ocean Blue. Ocean Blue played a wide range of their music. They played some of their older classic songs; went crazy. When it was time for the band to make their way home, the audience stomped until they came back out to do two encore and Snow, along with three new songs, which will be on their new album, due out around the beginning of the new year. The band rocked out for about an hour, while the crowd they couldnt contain it any longer and moshing broke out.
