One article in particular stated that 91 of all fatal traffic accidents are related to drunk driving. This means that 9 out of 10 people who are killed on the highway die as a result of drunk driving. This scares me very much and I am very concerned that the laws in Utah are not strict enough to have an impact When I go out on the highway I would like to feel very sure that my life is not going to be endangered by a drunk driver. I strongly believe in capital punishment for a person convicted of killing someone while driving under the influence of alcohol. I wonder how often this happens. I think our judicial system needs to take a very close look at the way drunk driving cases are handled. We, as people in the community, need to fight against the unexcusable crime.
