| Show why do it I 1 hardly a saturday passes but we are asked why it Is that the offices cesin in I 1 the county court houses are closed every saturday dt at three we are aware that this is customary here but must confess to entire ignorance of the reason for it we know fr from m experience that it is a practice which causes a great deal of inconvenience to the people who have business with the county officers and our honest opinion is that the practice should I 1 tie be discontinued the county officers h have lve the privilege of observing every holiday that comes along and we see no reason why the offices should not be kept open on saturdays just as late as on any other day in fact it would not be out of the way to keep them open an hour longer on saturday because of all days of the week that people out of town want to do business in county matters it is saturday |
