The MIA held its annual Halloween Party. Instead of costumes and masks the participants wore fancy hats and socks. Refreshments were served by the MIA officers. The PTA Boot Fair was an outstanding success, and Mrs. Eev-ly- n Huntsman wishes to thank all who participated. She also stated that the PTA still has some boots on hand if you didnt get a chance to take advantage of the big sale. Sharon and Clark Robinson and son visited with his family in Jensen. While there Clark went deer hunting. The Ferron Library has a new record p'ayer. It is hoped that people will take advantage of this opportunity to select records that can be checked out as well as bocks. Mrs. Opal Jensen, Erna Egan, and Arlean Grant drove to Richfield to watch their sons participate in the football game. They enjoyed the game even though Emery was defeated. Varion Box, administrator of the Emery County Nursing Home, was in Carbon Hospital undergoing tests. Visiting at the home of grandparents, the Morris Singletons, are Mrs. Ronald Huntsman and two children of Cedar City. ' The regional road show will be held in Castle Dale Feb. 8. Ferron Ward has been selected as well as Cleveland Ward to represent Emery Stake. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams visited with friends and relatives at Bicknell during the weekend.
