The Reverend Thomas Moorsman. former assistant pastor of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church and former member of the faculty at Carbon College, was the guest speaker. Reverend Mecrsman has his own television program Sunday mornings entitled From the Cathedral and he is presently located at Kearns. Father Meersman told the Newman Federation that with patience many things are conquered and even though we are a minority in the face of a majority we can still accomplish much. He reminded his audience of the recently celebrated birthday of the church, Pentecost Sunday, and the decent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles. "This inspiration gave the apostles the power to teach," he said. The speaker encouraged the people of this community to inspire the students. Among the other honor guests B. FRANDSEN Price Youth Called For IDS Mission, A farewell testimonial In honor of Elder Wayne B. Frandsen, son of Carbon Stake President and Mrs. Duane A. Frandsen, will be held Sunday, June 7, at 4 p.m. in the Price Fourth ward chapel, East Fourth North. Young Frandsen has been called by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints to serve in the Brazilian mission.
