Price BPW Club Continues Contributions for Worthy Endeavors BIW scholarship The 1963-6recipients taking advantage of the opportunity given them are Helen Johansen, a graduate of Carbon High Sdhool, Class of '63, and Carol Feichko, graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of '63. Both girls are maintaining high scholastic records and putting forth great effort to show their appreciation for having received the awards from the Price Business and Professional Women. Margaret Houston, who attended Girls State during the summer of 1963 having been sponsored by the Price club, has expressed her appreciation for having been selected and privileged to attend this annual event. 4 Both scholarship awards were made possible as a result of the "Doll and Wardrobe" project carried out by the Price club in December of 1963 under the direction of the Immediate past president, Ada Longhurst. Garff of Salt Lake City, professor on the staff of the University of Utah, will be the guest speaker for the Castle Valley Knife and Fork Club at Its meeting April 7 at the Carbon Country Club. Dr. Garff is professor of speech and marketing, but what is more important is that he is in demand as a convention and speaker and has now traveled over half a million miles to 45 states, plus Canada, making speeches on, human relations before some of the largest gatherings in the country. Dr. Garff is a graduate of the University of Utah on whose ulty he teaches. He received his degree in 1930. Later he went to Northwestern University at Evan' ston, Illinois for graduate work, receiving his Ph.D. in 1939. During the latter year and for two years more he was the director of retailing for Montgomery Ward Company in Chicago before join ing his alma mater. after-dinn- ty charities.
