Gilliam of Denver accepted appointment as judge of that citys municipal court he became the youngest judge in the history of the City of Denver. That was in 1936, four years after he had been admitted to the bar. Judge Gilliam held that position only four years. Then he ran for the judgeship of Denvers famous juvenile court, to follow the footsteps of Judge Ben Lindsey who had become a national figure after serving the court a quarter of a Don Wadsworth, specialist in custodial care from Utah State University, was the speaker in the third meeting of the Custodial and Turf Management Series Wednesday, November 14, in the Little Court Room according to Clara M Schofield and Robert Hassell of the Extension Services.
