Last week in Huntington Canyon, Penny, favored white Spitz-Colli- e of the H. II. Bird family, sneaked a bit of a new fluorescent cheese bait at the d end of a hook dangling from Mr. Bird's fishing pole. One gulp and the bait was down, deep down in the little dogs esophagus.
