Dalton as worthy patron. The ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Evelyn Pessetto, a past matron of Naomi chapter and a past grand matron of the Grand Chapter of Utah. Mrs. Pessetto, serving as installing grand matron was assisted by Rosa Migliaccio as installing grand marshal, Leva B Hall as installing grand organist and Ethel T. Binch as installing grand chaplain. All are past matrons of Naomi chapter. Others installed in addition to those mentioned above were Mae B. Hiatt, associate matron; George B. Meikel, associate patron; Josephine Wheeler, secretary; Mary Knobbs, treasurer; Mabel Jones, conductress; Bernice Pierce, associate conductress; Cloria Poore, chaplain; Pearl Swinburne, marshal; Mrs. Hall, organist; Lucille Gardner, Adah; Margaret Sweetring, Ruth; Hannah McDonald, Esther; Marie Rhinehart, Martha; Ruth ONeil, Electa; Sylvia LeMaster, warder, and Robert Swinburne, sentinel. A tribute to the outgoing officers was given by the junior past matron, Antoinette Goveshek, before the 1960 officers retired. tinsel and colorful ornaments are being combined this week in preparation for the Price Third ward Gold and Green Ball which will be held Saturday evening, December 10, under sponsorship of the MIA, beginning at 8:30. The dance promises to be a real entertainment feature of the season. Music will be provided by the Melody Four orchestra. Young people of the MIA will give a floor show at 9:30. Themed to Susies Snowflakes, the floor show will feature the theme song by Marta Brown, accompanied by Marjorie Curtis. Paul Powell, high school art instructor and member of the Third ward, has supervised the Christmas decor. Admission to the dance will be by budget card or donation. Magfeeft EXTENDS INVITATION TO LEGION AUXILIARY Donna Dupin, state president of the Utah Department, American Legion Auxiliary, extends an invitation to all members of the local auxiliaries to attend a mid-yepresidents and secretaries conference which will be held in the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City December 10, Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Dupin said that information gathered at the conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she was present recently and took part as resolutions chairman for the national organization, would be given to presidents and secretaries of the 94 units which make up the ar beautiful candlelight cerehonored the new worthy matron and her officers following the installation ceremony.
