President Donna Sillitoe presided over the meeting. After the opening ritual, a short business meeting was held after which time Mrs. Sillitoe relinquished the time to Lucile Jensen, a member of the Xi Kappa Exemplar chapter of Price. Miss Jensen gave an interesting talk on how Beta Sigma Phi sorority was first organized in Abilene, Kansas. In addition to this talk, Mrs. Acord gave a story titled A Point of View with flannel-boar- d illustrations. All the members and their guests thoroughly enjoyed both of these programs. Other guests present for the evening were Annette Cross and Lena Beth Echer from the Ki Kappa Exemplar chapter of Price, Sharron Juliano from Nu Phi Mu chapter, Susan Bonacci, Carolyn Luke, Vera Cha, Louise Vasquez and Irene Hovat. Mrs. Acords home was decorated with flower arrangements and candles. Gold - trimmed napkins, yellow candy, hot chocolate, cake, baked by Phyllis Stavar, and little gold corsages made by Ruth Dur-rafor each member and guest were delightful accessories to complete the evening. The next regular meeting of the chapter will be held November 12 at the home of Ruth Durrant.
