The guest speaker for the evening was Dr. L. II. Merrill who gave a very interesting talk on how to live with your nerves. He also showed a film on nerves working on the body and how it was conquered. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Tessie Smodey and Mrs. Lendora Draper. February 12, 19 and 26, according to County Agricultural Agent Robert L. Hassell. Mrs. Florence Pace of Price will give the instruction at this school. The school is being held by special request for women who work during the day time and have not had the opportunity to attend previous schools held in the county in past years. Mrs. Pace has attended three wood refinishing schools under the direction of former home demonstration agents and is well qualified to give instruction in this special school, Mr. Hassell says. Those who have worked with her know of her exceptional ability, both to teach and to produce a good finished job. Space is limited, and some reservations are already made. Therefore it will be impossible to take more than five additional women ho are interested in receiving this instruction. Anyone in Car-jo- n n y interested in learning to refinish furniture should contact the extension office by phone or letter immediately in order to make reservations.
