Ilis heroic exploits won him the coveted Distinguished Service Cross and the Croix de Guerre with Palm. He active service at the outbreak of World War II and saw service in Australia, New Guinea and Leyte. All officers of the Utah Department of the American Legion will form a reception committee to greet guests upon arrival. Chairman Jensen urged Legionaires and their Auxiliary members who wish to attend the party to secure their tickets from local post officers by arch 10 to insure reservations. Loren Dalton, Cleveland, entered a plea of guilty to the charge of failure to stop at checking station. Defendant was fined $10. Good cause appearing therefore, the fine of $10.00 was suspended.
