This radio program was recorded during the stage presentation of the production. More than a quarter of a million persons were employed In Utah during the week ending November 15, according to the November bulletin of the Utah Department of Employment Security released last week. Records showed that 257,000 persons were employed. This is 5,000 less than were employed in October, 1952, but 5,000 more than were employed In November of 1951. Those who were seeking this jobs in year totaled 6,300. This figure is 1,000 less than for the comparable week in 1951. Non-faremployment accounted for 222,000 of the total working force. Besides the usual decline in the number of farm workers, decreases also were noted in the construction and suvu.e industries.
