The increase was due to higher prices for goods and services, food, rent and fuel, electricity and refrigeration. The increase pushed the index to 189.6 per cent of 1935-3- 9 lf of prices one point above the previous record set last January. Mayor Glade has scheduled meetings throughout Carbon county in the interests of his candidasy and is scheduled to meet with Carbon county labor leaders in Price prior to the rally. This event is in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Duane Hamblin. Mrs, Hamblin as known by her many friends as Adeoline Noble. The five children of this union present were, Mrs. Lois Golde; ing, Murry; iMrs. Fanny Hill, Mrs. Iris Palmer, Dragerton; Lyman D. Hamblin, Jr., Pay-so- n, and Mrs. Erma Brooks, also of Payson. There were two great and seventy-on- e grandchildren grandchildren present to make this reunion a complete success.
