There is some question as to the name which will be tagged onto the rodeo and a meeting will be held Monday night to settle this score. When the Legion announced its intention of dropping the rodeo, the city council began looking around for some other organization to sponsor it because as Mayor A D. Keller explained, the annual rodeo has become a Price institution. No definite date has been picked for the event and this will probably depend upon the rodeo outfits available and the dates which they have open. The rodeo committee of the Sheriffs posse has been instructed to contact several different rodeo outfits to get the best possible show and posse members are expected to take a big part In the affair. C. L. Leavitt has been named rodeo committee and assisting him are Harris Simonsen, J. D. Dillard and Duane Frandsen. Cerito to Stop Sale of Beer for El Teen-ag- Benefit er Mr. and Mrs. George Gibson, operators of the El Cerito inn on the Price-Helphighway, have informed the sheriffs office that in order to help out with the juvenile recreation problem in Carbon county they are going to discontinue the sale of beer and open the premises to teenagers for dancing parties. Gibsons stated that . The they will try out the plan of opening their establishment to juveniles for the remainder of this year and if it works out as they expect it will, they will keep the sale of beer out of the place. One of the main contentions of the juveniles in the county is that they do not have any place to go for their dancing inasmuch as the law forbids juveniles from irtto establishments going that sell beer. With the opening of the El Cerito to juveniles it should aid in solving this problem, Sheriff Holman stated. NLRB Rules Against Coal Creek Coal Co. A Labor Great-grandpare- NLRB announced yesterday. Trial Examiner Howard Myers, who conducted hearings in the case in Salt Lake City and Provo, ruled that the company should the Incompletely disestablish dependent Union of Coal Creek Coal company, as the representative of its employes In collective bargaining. This would mean also the abrogation of any contract between the company and the independent union, Myers declared. At the same time, the decision would direct the company to stop "discouraging" membership of its employes in the United Mine Workers of America and promising benefits or threatening reprisals in order to influence its employes choice of a union. Under the opinion, the company would also offer immediate reinstatement with back pay to eleven employes who were fired because of union activities. Myers decision becomes the final order of the board unless it is appealed within twenty days. Miss Rose Oliveto Salt Lake Monday. great-grandpare- ATTENTION .
