Mr. Jackson was graduated from Carbon high school in 1941 and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Jackson. Mr. Jackson will receive a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering. His major was in mining engineering. He served as a first lieutenant in the infantry from 1943 to 1946. Mr. Bunnell was graduated from Carbon high school in 1942 and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bunnell, Price. He will re ceive a Bachelor of Laws degree from the College of Law. He served as a first lieutenant in the army for three years during World War II. Mr. Crawford was graduated from Carbon high school in 1943 and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford, Sr., Columbia. He will receive a Bachelor of Laws degree from the College of Law. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha social fraternity and Pi Delta Phi, honorary legal society. The commencement address will be delivered to 1760 graduates by Dr. James Roscoe Miller, president-ele- ct of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Mrs. Elizabeth Olsen is the new treasurer taking the place of Mrs. Helen Schultz who has resigned due to her new position with the Union Supply Company. Reverend J. R. Nicholas, the Episcopal pastor, is planning to make his home in Dragerton within the near future. He has expressed his appreciation for the fine response of the community in its contribution toward a parsonage. With Reverend Nicholas moving to Dragerton the present intention is to have morning services in place of the 4:30 services at present. Reverend Nicholas also expressed the feeling that he will be much better able to minister to the needs of the parish by living in Dragerton than when he lived at Kenilworth. The Trinity Guild ladies have worked very hard in getting a section of the clinic building reorganized imo a church meeting place. Cake sales and card parties have been held in the past for the church building fund. The next cake sale will be held this coming Saturday, June 11 at the rental office in Dragerton.
