During April a total of $1,377 was taken in through costs, fines and forfeitures. In January the amount taken in was only $711.55, February, $1,033.90 and March, $1,052.15. The month of April showed a slight increase in the cases handled. In the civil division April cases totaled 25 as compared to the 24 for March and eight for April of 194G. State criminal cases increased by three. The April total was 21 as compared to the 18 in March and 16 for April of last year. Three persons appeared before the court during the month on drunk driving charges. The Price city criminal cases increased by three, also, showing a total of 21 for April, 18 for March and 26 for April of last year. The traffic cases showed the greatest increase with 36 recorded in the past month as compared to 22 in March. April of last year saw 22 traffic cases.
