Bom on November 22, 1882, in Provo, a daughter of Bengt and Sophia Oberg Olsen, Mrs. Nelson was married to Hans Sorensen on March 14, 1902. She married Joseph Nelson in the Manti L. D. S. temple on November 9, 1909. Mr. Nelson died on December 17, 1934. Mrs. Nelson was an active L. D. S. worker. She served as a counselor in the Relief society and the Helen Kurtich Named Pin-U- p Girl Of Helper Fourth Fete Miss Helen Kurtich of Helper was named winner of the pin-u- p girl on July 4 at Helper during Primary.
