A. canning centers are being put in readiness this week to preserve vegetables for next seasons school lunch project and for W. P. A., social securityand Welfar families. Clients will furnish their own cans and produce. Equipment, fuel, and supervision will be furnished at the centers. No glass containers will be used. Clients may obtain eligibility slips from the W. P. A. or public welfare offices. Three centers will operate in CarAt Price in the Tavern basement; at the Spring Glen school house for Helper, Spring Glen and Kenilworth districts; and at Wellington at the Hill residence.
