Bennett, Carbon county agricultural agent. Poison bait is being distributed in the area by members of a spike camp established by the Castle Dale C. C. C.- camp. The work is under the direction of V. L. Johnson of Salt Lake City .field representative of the biological survey. Under the program, the bait is furnished by the individual farmers and is prepared by J. B. Jewkes, district agricultural inspector. Ground squirrels are the chief pests in the Scofield region.
