The production duiing the period covered by the report was 34,000 tons, virtually all of which was mined in Carbon county. During the week ending June 12, the output of Utah mines was 30,000 tons The 34,000 tons is considei ably more than was pioduced in the cor- responding weeks of 1936 and 1935, when the production was 24,000 and 19,000 tons, respectively. The national production during the week ending June 19 was 7 1 12 000 tons, as compared with 6,995,000 tons for the previous week and 6,698,000 tons and 4,798,000 tons for 1935 Price Elks To Be Well Represented At National Meet Price lodge No. 1550, B. P. O. Elks, this year will have the largest representation in its history at a national convention of the order. The meetings will be held at Denver during the week beginning July 11, and from present indications it appears that five members of the Price lodge will be in attendance. Exalted Ruler Erin H. Leonard and past Exalted Ruler Clyde J. Roberts of Columbia, accompanied by their wives, will make the trip to Denver together. Other Price lodge members who are expected to attend are Nick Ber-narloyal knight; Charles Larsen and Victor Besso. The latter two will take in the convention in connection with a vacation trip on which they started this week. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Huntington L. D. S. chapel, with burial under the direction of the Wallace mortuary of Price.
