CLUBS WILL MEET The board of the Utah Federation of Womens clubs will hold its semiannual meeting at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City, Saturday, January 30, at 10 a. m. Mrs. J. L. Gib-s- o, president of the federation, will preside at the session. This board consists of elective officers. directors, district presidents, chairmen of standing committees, of dechairmen and partments, and presidents of federated clubs belonging to the state federation. Dr. D. D. Carr, director of the division of social diseases control of the state board of health, will speak on problems in Utah relative to control of these diseases. His address will be illustrated by a film compiled by the United States government at Washington, D. C. Mrs. C. M. Tentative date is set as February 3, probably between five and eight oclock in the afternoon. A cordial invitation is extended the general public to attend this affair, as a program is being arranged and will be presented. All parents and others who have not had an opportunity to view and inspect this building, are asked to do so. The program itself has not been announced, that information being held up pending the completion of selections ad participants. It is the plan to have the board of education and a local civic organization as guests of honor.
