Several growers wiih five acre patches are reported to have exceeded an average of twenty tons in their acre production. Mr. Branch reports that the growers are very well pleased with their 1936 crop and that several already have planned for next season by fall plowing an advancement step which has not been experienced here previously and one which may be reflected by improved production next season. JUNIOR SOCIETY TO DONATE CHRISTMAS GIFTS TO CHILDREN During the past week several discarded toys and games have been donated to the Junior Genealogical society , which will make needed repairs on the contributions before distribution to unfortunate families of children during the holidays. With the real Christmas spirit, these youngsters, under direction of their project leader, have been gathering up such toys as may be used by poorer families of the community, who will appreciate this aid. Anyone wishing to donate may take their offerings to the tabernacle Monday evening after 7:30, or leave their names so that the workers may collect any articles given. With less than a week in which to prepare the procured toys, the group is urging contributors to send in their gifts as early as possible. Mr. Davidian has been requested to take charge of the work there during this week and will be replaced here by Robert Radke of Salt Lake City.
