Blood, according to press reports. This move is the initial step in the direction of bringing about an opportunity for people of the state to irmke selections of the nominees for public offices by direct balloting by the method which is now used in general elections, the secret ballot. Passage of a direct primary election measure will be a real victory for the people, affording them greater opportunity for more expression in the direct selection of their nominees and removing the old style convention system where horse trading methods predominated too often to the detriment of good government. State Senator Herbert B. Maw is chairman of the committee. Carbon county was represented on the committee by Mrs. D. C.
