JOHNSON. i;. !c K- Change Of Officers In Teachers Association The Carbon County Teachers association at a recent meeting selected Murray Lewis of Wellington to replace James B. Brown, who has removed from the district, and W. O. Murphy of Spring Glen, resigned be cause of other duties, on the board of trustees of the group. Other officers of the club are J. W. Bingham, president; Bess Jones, vice president; B. W. McAllister, secretary and Russell treasurer; Williams, Price trustee; and Silas Anderson, Spring Canyon, trustee. Chief objectives of the association are to promote a spirit of cooperation between members and the board of education, to settle any minor disputes which may arise among the teachers themselves and to help keep the teaching profession on a high plane in the district.
