Holden as a committee to cooperate with F. E. R. A. officials in handling the sanitation project recently approved for the county. The council authorized the installation of a booster tank on the fire engine, this device being designed to Increase the water pressure and add to the efficiency of the fire fighting apparatus. Twenty-tw- o applications for beer licenses, 17 for retail permits and five for wholesale permits, were approved by the council at the meeting. The license fees for the 22 licenses totaled $2600.
