Co. g M Wishing Our Patrons a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year i Castle Dale Quint Expects Good Year six lettermen available for duty this year, Coach G. O. Judah of the Central high school at Castle Dale has excellent prospects for a winning basketball team this season. Although he lost three regulars through graduation Blackham, center; Seely, guard, and Cox, forward, the Central mentor looks forward to a banner year. Captain Jay Jewkes, who has two years of first string competition to his credit, leads the returning regulars. He will probably be used at the pivot position this year. Ralph Jensen, capable guard, from last year's five, will assume his regular position, Kay Childs and Leonard Tuttle are working at the forward positions, while Van Jones and Bill Justeson are waging a merry battle for the other guard post. Other players who show promise are Owen McClanahan, center; LaVar Sitterud and Lorenzo Cook, guards, and Rex Cox, Hugh Moffitt, Ronald Reed and Wilford Cox, forwards. It Is the plan that an award similar to this will be announced each year of the program, and that the troop can add this to its flag pole decoration each year, as it meets the requirements. The 1934 program award will be made to ail troops who have fulfilled the following requirements: 1. There has been conducted program during the charter year end ing in 1934 which, in the judgment of the local council, after agreement with the troop committee, has been satisfactory program for that particular unit. This program may be in the form of a membership campaign camping and hiking program, or any other of the numerous activities of the Scouting circles. 2. There is a total boy membership at the close of its charter year ending in 1934 that is more than it was at the close of its charter year ending in US and -- 3. At least one half of all new Scouts (boys registered as Scouts for the first time during its charter year ending in 1934) were less than 13 years of age when they joined 4. At least eighty per cent of all new Scouts who joined the troop during its charter year ending in 1934 registered for Us charter year ending Triage Of Carbon OH CONOCO GASOLINE 111 1933. ?t FOR SALE rt SfBecilsiil Cedar Chest Lovely Store HUg.
