In both cases consumers were asked to pay advance fees to out of state companies to deliver the vehicles. The BBB cautions consumers against paying any advance fees to receive a prize or gift. In a legitimate contest or sweepstakes, the winner is not required to pay a fee to receive the award, says Bill Beadle, BBB of Utah president. A Florida company is offering free cars to Utahns. The Moulton Group, Hialeah, FL, is mailing prize claim forms to Utah residents offering a Cadillac Fleetwood or a cash prize. The companys claim form requests an optional fee of $47 or $107 to claim the award. With funds they received from the paper project, they are building a new storage building near the city sheds.
