Also 64 said they enjoyed it very much, while only 18 didn't really like it. The Troll Bock Fair was here at NSMS Library November We hope the students bought plenty of books because there were lots of good books for the students to read as part of our reading contest. Any report cards not picked up were mailed home. - Sevier Districts Board of Education is working to set a new policy on allowing parents to choose which school they wish their child to attend. They note that students may attend a school outside the attendance area in which they reside if pupilteacher ratios in the school to which they want to transfer do not exceed a ratio of 24 students to 1 teacher in grades Kindergarten through third, and 28 students to 1 teacher in grades 4 through 12. Exceptions may be made where the academic, social, and emotional welfare of the student is in question. Such exceptions must be approved by the principals of the schools involved and the district superintendent or his designee. If students attend a school outside their attendance area they must provide their own transportation. Phone News Items 9 y Here's a Turkey Trivia Test Are you a turkey wizard? Children someumes hold m their feelings unul they get to school Then emotions can explode without anyone understanding where they came from. Likewise, there may be events at school that affect home behavior Perhaps a child is being mercilessly teased or is upset over an upcoming test, or is nervous about a class performance.
