House guests included Larry Gri-fitand his son Todd from Murray, Dave Perry and his son from Pleasant View, Ron Tuck and his brother in law from Provo, and Sandy, John and Mandy Livingston from Provo. The Dorius daughter Dona was home from the BYU and a friend and her friend Judd Larkin from Willard. Their daughter Jennifer and her friend Nick Reyes from Brigham City. Naomi Dorius joined them all for a barbecue dinner. Mrs. Kathleen Bartholomew visited four days last week in Nampa, Idaho with her daughter Kathy and husband John Davis and children. Spending the long weekend with John and Kathleen were their son Steven and Gcnc and children of Cedar City. Robert and Annette Newman and children of Las Vegas enjoyed the weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harrop. Last weekend Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harrop, Mr. and Mrs. David Meade and son Spencer of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Royce Harrop and son of Layton went to Vernal to attend the blessing of their granddaughter Kayloni. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robin Harrop. Spending some time with JocAnn Heath this weekend has been Mr. and Mrs. Randy Heath and infant The biggest event of the season is upon us. For those new comers to the area, it is the Deer Hunt. Friday, the day was just like a beehive with the hunters busy getting their guns sighted in and trailers packed. Wives were chained to the kitchen making favorite goodies for their favorite hunter, and as the sun slowly set in the west, hunters were on their way to find the big buck. Saturday morning was just like a ghost town around here, as it was in most of the small communities around our area. Toward evening, a few hunters slowly trickled into town to either show off their deer, or tell about the big one that got away. The deer hunt always brings back to town many former residents. Visiting Paul and Loretta Willardson was their son, Michael and his sons, from Logan. Ryan and Vcrlccn Christensen and daughter Pam Braithcwaiteandchil-dre- n Ann and Chan to Santa Clara where Darlene, Ann and Chan visited with Rex and Janice Oliver until Friday when they returned home. Spending Sunday with Mrs. Betty Mcllor were her whole family, children and grandchildren except for her daughter Annette Teddy of California. Fern Mcllor also enjoyed the day with them. Weldon Christensen of Salt Lake enjoyed the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Christensen and also enjoyed the hunting. Mrs. Carla Mcllor and daughter Wendy enjoyed a day vacation in Salt Lake City where they meet with Darlene Sorenson and spent the day shopping and going out to dinner. Over night guest Friday night at the homeof Mrs. Izola Bartholomew were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Roberts of Brigham City. Overnight guest Saturday night were Orin and Erda Willardson of Tooele.
