More college bound Utah students take this test because its the one requried by Utah college and many colleges in nearby states. To take the ACT test set for December 12, students should register by November 13. Other ACT tests will be given February 27, April 16 and June 11. Cost of the ACT test if $10.50, but be sure to register before the deadline to avoid a $10 late fee. Students will be tested in English, math, social studies, and natural sciences. These tests require several hours. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) test is required by a lot of colleges and universities in the d East. Only a small percentage of Utah students take this one. The next registration deadline for the SAT test is Dec. 18, and the test will be set January 23. The cost is $12, with late fee $12. Persons with questions about these tests have a valuable source of assistance - their school counselor. These professional educators not only answer questions about preparing for these tests, they provide advice and information to all students about careers..
