I then graduated from Snow College an'd was active in speech and drama, and won 1st in the state oratorical competition at Dixie College. I received a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Utah. I have spent 40 years in public education - 35 as principal. I joined the U.S. Navy with a commission and graduated from represent all of the people - all of the time. I educated Grant Stubbs Grant Stubbs is a Salina businessman and rancher. Mr. Stubbs received his Associate of Science degree from Snow College, where his major interests were business, athletics and art. Mr. Stubbs has been active in civic affairs for many years, having served as city recorder, councilman and a previous term as Mayor. Mr. ..Stubbs has spent a great ideal of time working withjyouth in baseball in town, chlufc and school leagues, and )ias been fiAjk Roger Nielson Harvard University Naval Communications Training. During my World War II service I served on the staff of four different admirals and completed my military experience with the occupation of Ja Roger E. Nielsen was bom and in Salina. He graduated raised from North Sevier High School, pan. I am married to Alta Fox, and we have raised three sons who are all college graduates and served missions. Since returning to Salina in 1982 I have been very active in civic and church affairs. If I am elected Mayor of Salina I would like to see the following: 1. Keep taxes down and have some years of stability after a few years of major projects and incr- Snow College, and BYU with a B.S. and Masters Degree. Mr. Nielsen spent three and a Nyals Andreason half years serving his country during W orld W ar II. He has made his career in education, serving as Principal and Teacher for 39 years. He is i member of the LDS Church, 'having served in the Elton Taylor is running for the year Council seat in Salina. Mr. Taylor is married to Marella Peterson, and they have three chldren and 14 grandchildren. Mr. Taylor has served 4 years as Salina City Councilman. I believe in ; 1. Government by the people. Mr. Crane has been affiliated with Southern Utah Fuel Company for nearly 30 years. The next few years will be bringing a lot of change to Salina as the freeway bypasses us, and as the new prison is built in Gunnison. Many important decisions will have to be made. We will have to look for other clean industry to come into the area, and tighten our belts and rized and culinary water.
