Christensen admitted to State Bar Kay Ashman Christensen was admitted to the Utah State Bar Fricay, May 3rd, in a joint ceremony before the Justices of the Utah Supreme Court and the Federal District Court. Admission to the Bar is a prerequisite to the practice of law in the State of Utah. The ceremony took place in the court of Judge Bruce Jenkins. Speakers included Chief Justice Gordon Hall and Senior District Court Judge, Aldon Anderson. Following the admission proceedings, a reception was held for the new attorneys and their guests at the Utah State Bar Offices. Kay, a graduate of North Sevier High School and a Redmond native, graduated from the University of Utah College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree and successfully completed the Bar Examination necessary for admission. She will practice law in Salt Lake City. In attendance at the ceremony and reception were Kays parents, Commissioner and Mrs. Merlin Ashman and her children, Laurie and Cory.
