NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Directors of the above named company, held on the 1st day of Oct., 1923, an assessment of $2.50 per share was levied on the capital stock of the corporation, payable immediately to the Secretary at his office in Aurora, Utah. The public-auction- 02Gt2 AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE TO CONDUCT CREAMERY The creamery' of the Branch Agricultural college opens within the next few days. At present the building and remodeling is well under way but this is nearing completion. A receiving room and a sales room are being added, enabling the dairy tc handle large quantities of milk, and also to retail the products. Butter, cheese and ice cream will be manufactured for marketing purposes, and market milk will be handled. The herd of cows on the col lege farm will supply part of The milk and the rest will be solicited from the vicinity of Cedar City'. In connection with the dairy', courses are being given at the college ir. dairying. Students registering foi these courses get the technique ir the class and the practice on the dairy. A lunch counter will also be operated by the dairy department. At the present time there is no cafeterk at this institution. The counter is designed to furnish the students with sandwiches at a minimum cost anc free buttermilk. The dairy is in the charge of Arthur J. Morris, a graduate of the U A. C. Mr. Morris is one of the bes: qualified dairymen of southern Utah being reared in a dairy district trained under such men as Dr. Car roll, and Professor Wiister of the U A. C.
