EXTENSION BY CLASSES STATE UNIVERSITY REPUBLICAN CONVENTION A county convention of the Republican party will be held at Salina Utah on Saturday, September 30, 1922 at 10 oclock A. The temporary officers of the con vention are: N. J. Bates, chairman H. C. Larson, June Webb, secretary; W. O. Lundgreen assistant secretary. The basis of apportionment for the delegates is one delegate for each 20 votes or major fraction thereof, cast for Hon. Charles R. Mabey in 1920 The votes cast and the numebr of delegates to be chosen follows: vice-chairma- n; Preparations are now being made by the extension division of the of Utah to organize classes throughout the state for the benefit of those who cannot attend the state institution in Salt Lake City. It is thought that more than 100 classes will be organized in the various towns of the state this year, ac cording to Mrs. E. M. FlandrO, secretary of the extension division. Classes will be organized only in towns where sufficient number apply for work. A numbr of these will be conducted in the evenings for the convenience of thos who work during th day. Some of the work that is being asked for the most is in English, education, history and philosophy.
