If you do not have a copy, it is your, NATIONAL 257 is a It gives two food plans: the first for a years food supply, and the second is the one suggested by the office of Civil and Defense Mobilization for the two weeks survival storage plan. Using the daily food plan, approximate amounts are given for one person for one month and for one year. Did you know that if one person gets a serving of meat, fish or poultry each day he would need about 150 pounds for a year. The average person consumes about 65 pounds of butter, fats or oils, and 60 pounds of sugar, syrup, jelly, preserves and candy. With the material in this bulletin, a family could plan adequate food storage based on their own likes and dislikes.
