Show Aurora lews Reta Sorensen, Phone JA LeGrand Barney, Culver City, Calif., was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Verr Durfee, Thursday evening. Mrs. Max Curtis is a patient at the Salina Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lero Curtis were vacationing in Calif, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hardesty end Mr.- and Mrs. Rae Hardesty spent the past week at the Verr Durfee home. David Day attended the homecoming at Snow College, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Curfew of Los Angeles, returned to their home, after spending a week with Mrs. Curfews father. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Shaw of Salt Lake, are visiting at the Frank Harward home. Mr. Shaw returned home, and Mrs. Shaw will spend a week here. Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Cline Sorensen entertained at a dinner in honor of Kimball Harward, who is leaving Nov. 13th to fill a mission in the Western States. Seated were Kimball, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harward, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Day and son, Rodney; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sorensen and the hosts. Caralyn Stewart of Salt Lake, spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Mayda Stewart. Mrs. Leo Bastian entertained her club Wednesday night. The 13 ladies enjoyed sewing, and luncheon was served. Mrs. Vermont Harward was hostess to members of the Club, Wednesday. Friendship Sewing was the pastime of the evening, and luncheon w a 9 served. The Birthday Club held a Halloween party Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Ilarve Oldroyd and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Kennedy v. ere hosts at a Halloween party for the club members. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Jensen of Sigurd, were out of town guests. Family members attending the funeral services of Miles Nielson at Fillmore were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Mason, Mrs. Ila Sheppard, Mrs. Thad Wasden, - Mrs. Alida Mason, Mrs. Luella Andrews. Frank Harward, Sr., is spending a week with his son. Royal in Loa. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Mueller and Nora Fay Curtis of Salt Lake, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Curtis, their parents. Mrs. C. Bagley of Murray, is visiting her son, Voyle Bagley. Lamar Curbs of Salt Lake, is spending two weeks at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Curtis, before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harward were Loa visitors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Curtis were Monroe visitors Sunday. Mrs. May Peterson gave a Christmas gift demonstration at her home Friday. Five ladies from the Loa Relief Society attended. Thomas Christensen spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylven Christensen. Mrs. Morral Watts helped her son, Ronald, celebrate his 4th birthday, Monday. Eighteen little guests played games. Luncheon was served. Dinner guests at the Morral Watts home Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Wallen Christensen and family of Manti; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Cadwallader and children of Lodi, Calif. To help Mrs. Marvin Mason celebrate her birthday Wednesday, out of town guests were: Mrs. Bill Horne, Hazel Duffin, Nola Schaugaard, Wilma Branch, Deann Baxter, Carol Roberts, all of Richfield, and Virginia Sorensen. Lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Jensen of Idaho; Mrs. Clair Winget, Richfield; Jack Winget, Long Beach, Calif., were visitors at the Willard Lewis home during the week. Mr. Lewis is very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mason attended Sacrament Meeting in Scipio, Sunday. Their granddaughter was named Sonja Sue. The little Miss is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Sorensen. Eugene Stewart of Arizona, is visiting hes mother, Mrs. Maya Stewart. Mrs. Don Christensen and two children of San Francisco, are visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lloyd Johnson. Reed Hansen and George Shepherd told the boys about deep sea fishing. They told of their experiences while fishing for marlin. Luzon Peterson, school nurse, was guest speaker at the Girl's League meeting. An educational film on grooming was shown. Mrs. Peterson then gave a talk on grooming, dating and manners. Mary Christensen played a piano solo. ACHIEVEMENT TESTS As part of North Sevier Highs testing program, achievement tests for the 11th grade were given under the direction of L. A.
