A parent had their say, as did a wife of a referee, now if there is anyone else, this is a good time to get it off your chest. Better to bring those things out in the we think it might make open better sports out of all of us. Spring is officially here. Doesnt make any difference what the date on the calendar or the weather it is still Spring. The sure sign was last week Orlando Crane came home from California. Every Fall, Mr. and Mrs. Crane leave for the coast, and they dont return until Spring. But they are home now, so you can rest assured it is Spring in Salina. mmm A little survey in the Rexall Drug the other day, uncovered the fact that quite a number of Salina women are simply nuts over the T. V. show, Im not sure Cheyenne. whether they go for the show or for Cheyenne himself. Stell Selack said when the show was on at her home, the work was off; she just found a comfortable seat and didn't move until it was over; dinner, company, dishes, etc. were just forgotten for the hour, and the family just had to make out the best they could. Me, I kinda go for Wyatt Earp. He isnt as big as Cheyenne, but boy, can he make law and order prevail. m t' .. v y. The grant will be used for three vital agricultural research projects that can increase the prosperity of farmers Ve Have UTAH Farmers On Hand A Good Supply Of Fertilizers throughout the state. One project will help livestock men breed cattle and sheep will gain more weight per pound of feed. The second will seek to control dodder, a plant parasite threatening Utahs five million dollar alfalfa seed industry. The third will try to develop locally grown, poultry feed now being imported. This would give Utah farmers an opportunity to raise new, profitable crops. The success of these projects by helping Utahs agriculture will benefit our entire state.
