There are hundreds of examples where Dad, Mother and the family have adopted an impractice that has proved meant additional income, and in other ways, meant better family living. For instance, the purebred dairy calf project that developed into a high producing and profitable dairy herd for the family. Also, the girl who learned to do her own sewing, and in addition, helped mother with the family sewing, etc. Yes, the family who creates a Club family interest in the program helps themselves, and helps their community. The club project is an important part of each members program, but it is only a part. Each member should attend the club meetings, keep accurate records, learn to demonstrate, judge, exhibit, participate in social and some special activities. This makes a well rounded program for youth development.
