Show Universal Sem llorth Teacher Roster Released For 195S-5- 7 School Year VJ Personnel for the schools in North Sevier were released this week by the superintendent, Bennett. Several changes have been noted, and vacancies filled for the 1956-5year. School will get underway on September 4th, with registration hours to be released through the local principles. The decision was reached following discussions with the Salina City and Town Boards in and Aurora. Need for additional medical service, and the fact that it was only possible to house two doe- w tOT mtte yt the major reasons listed in mak- ing the change. It was also brought out that many residents of North Sevier were seeking hospitalization in other areas, and with the hospital only serv- ing as a hospital, these residents might return to use their own f acuities. ' Fishing Pond Closed The childrens fishing pond at the Jorgensen ranch in the mouth of Salina Canyon, has been closed on request of the owner, according to Ted Sorenson, president of the Jaycees, the sponsoring club. Destruction of property and utter disregard for pond privileges were reported as the cause of the closing. T, at-w- as Salina Lions To Conduct Fly Spray Drive Aug. 19 The Salina Lions Club are again sponsoring their Fly Spray Campaign, in an effort to pre- vent the spread of disease, and keep residents healthy. Lynford Anderson is chairman of the 1956 project, with Dale Peter- son, Dr. Rae E. Noyes and Frank Selack as committee members, The drive will get underway on August 19, and it is planned to complete it in one day. Resi- dents will be contacted the day of the spraying and asked to co- operate.
