Show IF ITS NEWS, ALL THE NEWS WANT IT OF NORTH SEVIER THIRTY-FIFTI- I YEAR Claims Lives Of AUGUST 28, 1953 SALLNA, UTAH, FRIDAY, Crash South Of Aurora Truck-Aut- o Mother-Daught- er Sevier Countys 1953 traffic death toll exceeded the entire year of 1952 with the death of two California residents in an accident one mile South of Aurora on U.S. Highway 89, Saturday evening. Dead were Mrs. Barbara Begt Pelly, 35, and her daughter, Alice Ann Pelly, 16, both of North Holly- wood. The daughter was killed instantly, and the mother died to the Rich- field Hospital. Sgt. Ted Hansen of the Utah Highway Patrol, and who in- vestigated the mishap, stated the Pelly sedan, a late model Chevrolet, and northbound, ap- parently hit a soft shoulder and skidded sideways into the path of a pickup truck, going south, and driven by Harry Walters of Centerfield. According to reports, the little girl dashed into the street in front of the auto, which was traveling very slow. The car stopped in time to avoid more serious injuries.
