Interest in young people is stimulated by the fact that Mr. Andreason and his wife, Alta Fox, have two sons of their own, Nyals Anthony, who is 11, and in the fifth grade, and Aaron, who is eight and a half years old and in the third grade. Andreason, who will return this fall for his third year as principal of Centennial, explains why he likes his work: Ive served in both elementary and high schools, but I feel that at the junior high school level is when boys and girls need more help and understanding than at any other time, and need organized youth programs to meet their recreational needs." He terms Norwalk way behind" in providing enough recreational needs for youngsters, and is working toward obtaining a YMCA for this area. During the past year of seeing more of both the junior and senior high-groups in Norwalk to prove Y the need for a YMCA building. Although Andreasons work and his civic affairs take up much of his time, he reserves a little for recreation for himself. I still like to think I can participate in sports, he says, and names basketball as his first love, playing occasionally on a faculty team. He likes fishing, preferably 'the mountain type, but also deep sea angling. And he likes to return to Utah when he can, for a shot at deer. Also not forgotten in his schedule, is his own studying. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah in 1938, and his Masters Degree from the same school in 1948. Now hes working on his dissertation, aiming at a doctorate. His schooling also includes a stint at Harvard, courtesy of the United States Navy. He went in as a commissioned officer, and was sent to Harvard for training in Communications. Then he went to seas as communication officer, first under Admiral Wilkinson of the Third Amphibious Force, and later under Admiral Spruance of the families were' seated with the newlyweds.
