This we will never know. We do know, however, who some of the people are who have con- tributed these hours. First we 6alute the Wolves and their coach, Hugh Bird. Last October, the team and coach Bird started staying after school, drilling and practicing. This after school practice has been going on since that time. When the competitive games started, the Wolves put their skills to work. They fought to the last second of every game, no matter if they were running ahead of their opponents, or if they were behind, driving to catch up, and another victory for their school. Why were they putting in all this strenuous work? For the love of the game and the spirit of competition. What was the goal of coach and team? The state tourna- ment- This goal has been at- tained. The peppy cheerleaders of North Sevier, have done an outstanding job in promoting and leading the school spirit at the We quote Coach Bird: gamesThe cheerleaders have been right beside the team all the way. They cry when they lose. and have a big victory kiss for the boys when they come out - on top. The many faithful fans deserve praise. Win or lose, they, have been behind the team. tory or defeat, the fans are proud and happy to claim the Wolves as their team. These are the fans who traveled to Mt. Pleasant, and now to Salt Lake, to support the team, and to prove how fully they are behind the team and its efforts. These fans are appre-clinc-h dated by North Sevier and the team. This year, the student body has supported the team more than ever before. This has been proven in many ways. The pep and enthusiasm at rallys, and their wonderful support at the games, are but two of them.
