During her visit, she received word that a grandson, Brady Mickelson, had been in the Sevier Valley Hospital in Rich- field with pneumonia. Her daughter, Mrs. Cola Peterson, accompanied her home, and then Colas husband drove from Price to take her home on Sunday. for Karen and Wen-daRasmussen. He was born Sunday in the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, weighing in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. and with lots of black hair. He has a brother and three sisters waiting at home. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Philo Rasmussen and Mr. and Mrs. George S. Hatch, of Koosharem, who are helping in the home. The baby will be named Jared Paul. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Larsen and families, of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Anderton, Salt Lake; and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wall, Venice, were staying at the home of Mrs. Nola Larsen. They came for the funeral of Mrs. Mildred Larsen, in Salina last week. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Miller went to Huntington Sunday afternoon to visit friends, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Fish. and Mrs. Junior Mr. Christensen and family and Leon Christensen, Salt Lake, were visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vannoy Christensen, Its a boy ll Saturday and Sunday. Leon visited Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ashman. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hansen, of Richfield, were also dinner guests of Vannoy and Irene. Mr. and Mrs. Jarl Klungervik and family, Heber City, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mickelsen. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Hansen and family, Centerfield, were also and with them for dinner visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Kendyl Wilkins hosted a dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hansen, who had their baby daughter named in testimony meeting. She was given the name Jackie Gene. Here for the occasion were: Grandmother, Mrs. Myrle Hansen, Mayfield; Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Robertson and family, Orangeville; and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Thomas and family, Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hampton came home Wednesday from Salt Lake, where she had received medical help. On Sunday, they celebrated Mr. Hamptons 87th birthday. They had dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Colby in Salina. Then they all came here to Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hamptons for ice cream and cake. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hales and family and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hampton and son were with them. Mrs. Dolph Spencer, Mrs. Gail Heath, and Mrs. Sherman Christensen were hostesses to a shower for Mrs. Lynn Dumas Monday afternoon, March 21st at the home of Mrs. Spencer Lynn and Betty were wen married February 1st in La? Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Paulis Peterson and daughters visited Saturday and Sunday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Newel Olsen anc. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Barlow received word of the birth of a baby boy, March 22, 1977, in Tooele, to Mr. and Mrs. Kay Barton. Mrs. Barton is the former Carol Barlow, youngest daughter of the Barlows. The baby is their sixth, making four boys and two girls. His other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barton, Henderson, Nevada; and is Joseph Barton, Sr., of St. George. Mrs. Debra Larsen, and Mrs. Lora lee Anderson, Elsinore, were hostesses to a baby shower for Connie Roberts, of Venice, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Junior Lund, Saturday, March 19th. There were 26 guests. They enjoyed games and lunch. Going on a camping and horseriding trip Thursday to Sunday were Kirk Anderson and son Don, Owen Christensen and sons Dirk and Ryan, Kent Johnson and son Kelly, Marvel Anderson and son Sterling, Kennard Anderson, and Rick Glen-woo- d, Mickelsen. They went to Copper Globe country. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Lund went with a group of square dancers from Gunnison to Mesquite, Nevada Friday to Sunday and attended a jamboree. Mr. and Mrs. Nordell Peterson, Salt Lake, spent Saturday and Sunday of last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gleave Peterson. Also in meeting Sunday, three lovely young ladies received their names. LaMar McBride proudly gave his little daughter the name of Maradee Arvtlla. After church, the family gathered at the McBride home and had a delicious dinner. Larry and Suzie Ricketts and family left Thursday for Las Vegas and the home of Jerry and Pat Stevens and family. Such a young lady is Jeanme Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nelson. Jeanme has always been able to solve the problems m Math, as I am sure she will with problems of life itself. She is a very talented and gracious young lady, always willing to help those who do not understand Bob and Barbara, it's a pleasure to have your daughter in class. We are proud of Jeame and her achievements at North Sevier the night, both families drove on to California, where they toured Disneyland and other interesting places. At Knottsberry Farm, they met Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ough, an aunt and uncle, and they all had a very enjoyable dinner. The Ricketts returned Sunday alter a great time. The newest addition to our town is a beautiful baby girl by the name of Miss Brenda Lee Coates. - Her lucky and proud parents are Brent and Joan Curtis. Grandparents in Aurora are Max and Beth Curtis, who say the night of walking the floor and waiting was well worth it. Ina and Venoy Curtis were in Provo Tuesday, to keep a doctor's appointment for Ina. Genevieve Crowther has been very ill with the llu. We surely hope she soon is well again.
