Tammy Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jensen, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lambertsen and family, of Salina. to Joe's Valley on a camping trip from Thursday to Sunday. Mrs. Harvey Dickerson and children, Salt Lake, spent all week w ith her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Jensen. Monday, they enjoyed a fishing trip to Fish Lake. Friday, they had a party for Aneisa Dickerson for her 6th birthday. Her little cousins helped her celebrate with games and luncheon. Mrs. DeVon Jensen and children. Salt Lake, came to spend the weekend with them. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Jensen and son, Midvale, came Tuesday to visit his parents, Bishop and Mrs. Douglas Jensen. They went to Loa to visit her parents and returned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Wilkins, St. George, spent part of the week in their home here and visited their son, Mr. and Mrs. Kendyll Wilkins and family. They sold their home to Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Anderson, of Midvale. The Andersons are parents of three children, two girls, 13 and 10, and a boy, 6. He is working for Intermountain Farmers in Salina. They are active L.D.S. Church members. We welcome them to our town. Marie Lewis, Salt Lake, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. JoLane Lewis, and visited her grandpa, Adley Peterson, and grandmother, Mrs. Inez Lewis and with friends. Steven Jensen and his fiancee. Laura Lee Powell, were spending the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Vontess Jensen. Also visiting Mrs. Jensen was her granddaughter, Kathy Theissens, accompanied by her girlfriend from Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Poul-sowent to Salt Lake Friday to Sunday. They went with Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Poulson and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Mansfield, of Orem, to the circus at the Salt Palace Saturday evening. Mrs. Kent Johnson went into the Richfield Hospital Sunday and had major surgery Monday. Las Vegas, came and visited a week. Douglas came over the weekend and got them. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Barton and family, of Tooele. Farrel Hales. Salt Lake, has been home at his mothers, Mrs. Jeannette Hales, for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Christensen were in charge of the Christensen Family reunion, which was held Saturday and Sunday at Hoble Creek in Springville Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Christensen and family went, too. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Johnson. Kanab, came to attend the funeral of LaRee Chidester on Thursday. They stayed with their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lewis. Mrs. Keith Willden went to the Gunnison Hospital Tuesday, August 20th, when she had a heart spell. Our thoughts and best wishes are for her recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Peterson and family put on the program in church Sunday evening. Roger conducted. Gregg and Iden Robintheir son, spoke. They had left August 10th for Sidney Montana, to visit their daugh ter, Janet, and her husband Christian Aase, and get ac quainted with their new grand son. born August 8th. Enroute home, they visited Mrs. Peterson's brother, Owen Sand-quis- t. Aiken, in a Salt Lake hospital. He has suffered a stroke. They also visited her brothers and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Archie Aiken, Mr. and Mrs. Vero Aiken and Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Aiken, in Spring City. Among those who came to the funeral of LaRee Chidester Thursday were: Mrs. Delbert Lewis, Circieville; Mrs. Hazel Stoker. Junction; Mrs. Delbert Hansen. Richfield; Mrs. Aurita Christiansen. BIRTHS Mr. and Mrs. Shyrel Baker, of Salina, are the proud new parents of a baby son born August 1, 1974, at the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 Vi long. He will be named Kerry Shyrel Baker. An older sister, Vivian, who is two and a half, helped welcome Kerry home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Heaps Baker. Salina, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris E. Nelson, Monticello. Monroe; Mrs. Vern Slaughter, Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Christensen, Orem: Mrs. Grace Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Williams and family. JoLene. to Provo to attend B.Y.U. Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murphy and family, of West Helena, Arkansas, came to visit U'Dell and LuGene and Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson. They were bringing their daughter, Sherrie, to Utah to attend B.Y.U. On Saturday, the Raiford family, of Houston, Texas, who were converted to the Church by Elder John Johnson, came to visit them. They also brought a daughter. Gayle, to go to B.Y.U. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Campbell. of Salina, went Monday on a camping trip into the Uintah Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Christensen, Lovell, Wyoming, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Poulson and family. Granger, spent the week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jensen. They were joined on the weekend by Mr. and Mrs. Randy Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Christensen and families, of Lovell, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Maron-cellof Casper, Mr. and Mrs. James L. O'Brien and family, of Salt Lake, for an enjoyable family visit. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Poulson and family also visited his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Poulson. i. Ines Chidester Rites Held Funeral services were held last Thursday, August 22nd, for Ines LaRee Lewis Chidester, in the Redmond Ward Church. She died August 18th in the Sevier Valley Hospital.
