Many boys turned out, but unfortunately only 16 could be on the baseball team. The track team hasnt made their cut yet. Congratulations to those on the baseball and track teams and the best of luck in your games and meets. Also Coach Beck has turned to relaxing as he has started a golf team, which travels to Richfield each day to practice. This is something new at North Sevier and I hope it turns out alright. Elsewhere in the spotlight was the FFA State Convention in which five boys (Allen Mason, Richard Wasden, Scott Johnson, Brent Jensen and Ken Nelson) attended with Mr. PeIt was a great exterson. we had a great and perience time. Salina Jaycees Back Students The Salina Jaycees are backing Mr. Wilkins and Mr. Reynolds fourth grade class on an aluminum beer can clean-u- p program. The money will be turned back to Salina Elementary for school supplies. First place trophies will be awarded to both a boy and girl, awarded to both a boy and girl turning in the most cans. There will be awards given for second and third place. Students will be picking the aluminum cans up along the roadway and other places in the area.
