Show jQecttiuyuct MANTI TEMPLE CEREMONY 'lOedduig, (Belts, Miss Katherine Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murphy, Helena, Arkansas and Tom A. Hunter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto T. Hunter, Holden were married in the Manti LDS Temple June 5. The marriage was solemnized by the bridegroom's uncle, Milton R. Hunter. A wedding breakfast was served to family and friends at the Wistaria Cafe In Gunnison. A wedding reception was held that evening in Holden and one the following week in Helena. In town for the wedding and guests at the Durell Mickelsen home were Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Kunz, Magna; Mr. and Mrs. George Madron and daughters, Afton and Debbie, Salt Lake City and Nancy Woolfork, Senatobia, Mississippi. Also attending the reception that evening in Holden were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. UDell Johnson. MARJORIE MICKELSEN PHONE Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rasmussen, Salt Lake visited relatives here during the Memorial weekend. Mrs. Maysie Collard, San Francisco and Mrs. Lou Gardner, Salt Lake were guests recently of Mr. and Mrs. Mar Mickelsen. H & W Club met Wednesday evening at Alean Kearns. Mrs. DeVeda Gribble, Gunnison was a guest. Pinochle prizes were won by Fawn Peterson, De Veda Gribble and Hilda Waters. Mrs. Olive Watts of Murray came last week for her son, Bryan who had been here during the school year and living with his grandparents. The M.I.A. went on an outing to Maple Grove Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Behunin went to Rifle, Colorado Sunday of last week. His father died and the funeral was Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wendall Payne, Salt Lake came for Memorial Day and his mother, Mrs. Selda Payne went with them back as far as Orem at her daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Horne. She attended a testimonial for two of their children who are going on missions to England. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brown received word that his parents had been hurt In a car accident and came back and went to Missouri to see them. Karen and Kay Hales, children of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hales went to Salt Lake to spend a week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylven Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hales and family, Bountiful and Mr. and Mrs. Pryce Hales and family, Centerville, came over the weekend for opening of fishing. Mrs. Pryce Hales and children stayed a few days at the Kenneth Hales and Charles Larsens in Salina. Tom Morgan who has been with Mr. and Mrs. Udell Johnson left for his home In Crown Point, MELEHES-BODENHO- ficiating. A reception followed at the home. They are presently residing In Aurora, Kerry is working for the Rio Grande Railroad. Campbell, Kentucky to serve In the National Guard for 4 to 4 12 months. Michael Willardson left Monday to go to school at Utah State in Logan for six weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nielson and family, Ogden visited Mrs. Delta Williams Friday. They were enroute to Van Nuys, California. They will be making their home pard and year old daughter, Kami Lynn have been with Mr. Shaw the past few months. A graduate of Southern Utah State College, Bills future plans include teaching. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Shaw, Aurora. Sp5 Bill Lee Shaw was discharged from the army this week after serving for two years with one year in Vietnam. First we looked at different types of cloth. We used a magnifying KIM DARBY 4-- H glass to see the different kinds of weaving. She showed us howto use a pattern and which way to put the grain of the cloth. Then she showed us how to work and thiead the sewing machine.
