Salina Riding Club members with their enjoyed a ride-o- ut wives as special guests on May 24th. The group rode in the east foothill area returning to the club room for a pot-ludinner. It is planned to have a social each month with the wives as guests. The club is also accepting new members in an expansion drive. ck Tours Europe With Y Group Miss Stefenee Nielsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nielsen, one of 15 performers in a variety show called Holiday in the USA left this week for a tour of Europe. The troupe will be under the direction of Miss Jane Thompson, program director and Charles Hansen, manager-performe- r. They will travel to military campus in West Germany, Berlin and Italy, returning about August 10. They expect to give between 70 and 100 shows. On their days off from performing for the military, they will give performances at branches and missions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. Gary De Lange, for two years a highly successful coach at Utahs smallest high school, has been appointed head basketball and track coach at East Carbon High School at Sunnyside. DeLange, coming to Tabiona in 1966, coached the Tigers to a pair of exciting basketball years. This past March, the Tigers made it to the Region Six, northern division playoffs. Tabiona, with an enrollment of 39 students had 20 boys, all but one of the schools male students playing basketball under DeLange during the 1966-6- 7 cage season. Gary, a graduate of North Sevier attended Snow College and has a bachelors degree from the University of Utah. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth DeLange, Salina.
