One Of The Private Clubs Adjoining Bear River Refuge Shown above, located on the Bear River near the entrance to the Migratory Bird refuge, is the Bear River Duck club, one of several private clubs built and operated fey sportsmen from all parts of the United States. Attracted by the superlative hunting in the Bird refuge area and adjoining it, sportsmen able to afford it have gone together and spent large sums of money .building such clubs and equipping and maintaining them. Each fall when duck season opens, the members gather from far and near.
