Show t ! 1 Obit uaries Rees Madsen Bingham, 30, of South First East, Hyrum, Friday, April 1, 1977, in an airplane crash in the San Bernardino, Calif., mountains. He was born Feb. 8, 1947, in Brigham City, a son of Earl L. and Afton Madsen Bingham. He married Neila Espinosa on Dec. 5, 1969, in Panama. He was a graduate of Box Elder High school and LDS seminary. He served a mission for the LDS church from 1966 to 1968 and was a member of the Hyrum Fifth LDS ward. He served in the USArmy in Panama. He was a truck driver for E.A. Miller and Sons of Hyrum. Surviving are his widow and one daughter, Brenda Bingham, both of Hyrum; his parents of Honey ville; brothers and sisters, Darwin Bingham, Ogden; Edward Bingham, South Jordan, Utah; Byron Bingham, Mrs. Lavar 0. (Vernice) Earl, Jeanette Bingham, all of Brigham City; Lewis Bingham, Mrs. Reed (Marilyn) Baker, both of Salt Lake City; Boyd Bingham, serving an LDS mission in Brentwood, Tenn.; Douglas Bingham, Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs. Milford (Erlene) VanWeerd, Clearfield; Mrs. Larry (Irene) Jensen, Corinne. Also surviving is a grandfather, B.A. Bingham, Honey- - died Lewis Hale Fackrell, 49, of 543 South Third West, Brigham City died Monday, April 4, 1977, in Brigham City Community hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Trenton, Utah, a son of Joseph Everett and Edna Virginia Crenshaw Fackrell. He married Marva Bingham on May 21, 1949, in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. He was a graduate of North Cache High school and attended Weber college. He had resided in Brigham City since 1952 and had been employed with the Union Pacific Railroad for 12 years. He had worked at Thiokol corporation since 1960 where he was a traffic analyst. He had served in the US Merchant Marines and with the US Army paratroopers during World War II. He had participated in distance running races, including the Golden Spike marathon and the Mountain race at Kays-villUtah. He was a member of the Golden Spike Track club and former member of the American Legion Post Mens chorus. Surviving are his widow of Brigham City; three sons and one daughter, Daniel Lewis Fackrell, Mrs. William (Linda) Owens, both of Salt Lake City; Kirk W. Fackrell, Blake Hale Fackrell, both of Brigham City; one grandchild. Also surviving are his mother of Trenton; one brother and two sisters, Joseph Everett Fackrell, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. Lewis H. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Tolman and family are in Arizona at the present time where they plan on spending the Easter holidays with Mrs. Tolmans parents. The Honeyville Cub Scouts held their pack meeting recently. Each cub and his father were instructed to make a cake together. They also were served popcorn balls. Scott Tolman later handed out awards to many of the cub scouts. The Honeyville School PTA recently held a meeting at which they nominated new PTA officers for next year. They also discussed the possibility of getting carpet in the classrooms and having an intercom system installed. Student in WSC pageant A Brigham City student attending Weber State college is one of three young women vying in the Miss Weber State college scholarship pageant. She is Betty Baron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale G. Baron of 423 East First North. She is a sophomore student majoring in elementary education with an emphasis on English and child development. While in high school she was a varsity cheerleader, a member of the National Honor society, and as first attendent ot the Fu- ture Farmers of Duce, (Virginia) Logan; Mrs. Ira (Margaret) Jardine, Clarkston, Utah. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City South Stake center. Friends may call one hour prior to service at Olsen Funeral home, 205 South First East, Brigham City. H ,4 Clara JO. -- V i i Capener Mrs. Clara Oyler Capener, 86, of Garland, died Sunday, April 3, 1977, at Pioneer Memorial Nursing home in Brigham City of natural causes. She was born Feb. 9, 1891, in Burville, Utah, a daughter of John Orrin and Mernerva Jane Bingham Oyler. She was married to Samuel William Capener on Sept. 27, 1910, in Logan. The marriage was solemnized in the LDS temple on Nov. 23, 1910. He died Nov. 14, 1974. She was reared and educated in Box Elder county and at- tended Brigham Young college in Logan. She was a member of the Garland Second LDS ward. She was a member of the Relief society and had served as secretary and visiting teacher. She was also a Sunday school teacher, Primary teacher, member of the ward choir and ward organist. She had served as president of the Garland Ladies Self Culture club. Surviving are .two sons and three daughters, Harold R. Welling David M. Welling David Madsen Welling, 62, of East 2800 North, North Ogden, died Monday, April 4, 1977, at McKay-De- e hospital of a heart attack. He was born July 10, 1914, in Garland, a son of Franklin David and Emelia Madsen 645 Welling. He married Jean Stewart on June 10, 1939, in the Logan LDS temple. He was reared in Brigham City and was graduated from Weber college and Utah State university. He received his masters degree from Galladuet college, Washington, DC. He taught school at the Utah School for the Deaf and then served with the Navy during World War II. He returned to Ogden and was principal of the school for the deaf. He later was owner and manager of Dave Welling Travel service and airport Limousine service which he operated until moving to New Zealand. He taught at the LDS Church College of New Zealand in Temple View for six and years. When he returned to Utah he did graduate work at Brigham Young univerity. He was working in the international real estate and food brokerage business. He was a member of the North Ogden Third LDS ward and was patriarch of North Ogden Utah stake. He had also been patriarch of Hamilton stake in New Zealand. He was a high priest and Sunday school teacher. He also served as the senior supervisor at the LDS temple in New Zealand. He served for three years as a member of the Utah State Board of Education. He was also chairman of the Democratic party of CARD OF THANKS We as a family wish to take this means of thanking all those who extended assistance, comfort and sympathy at the time of the illness and death of our beloved husband, father, son and brother David C.
